Jake began his career with a Kansas City-area developer in 2020, where he advanced to a Director-level role overseeing property and construction management — ultimately leading the acquisition of the company’s property management division. In 2023, his entrepreneurial drive led him to Denver, where he operated a construction management firm and raised capital on value-add multifamily projects across the Midwest. It was through that capital-raising experience that a core conviction took shape: to truly deliver on an investment, you have to maintain control over the entire process — from construction execution to ongoing operations.
After completing his studies at the University of Colorado, Jake relocated to Austin to pursue his MBA at the McCombs School of Business. Upon arriving, he spent time in corporate and commercial banking to develop a deeper understanding of the local market. That work, combined with deliberate due diligence, confirmed what he suspected: the same gap he had filled elsewhere — professional, integrated management across construction and property operations — existed in Texas.
Trivium was built from that foundation. Whether managing its own investments or serving as an operating partner for outside owners, Trivium brings an ownership mentality to every engagement — maximum accountability, fiduciary-level responsibility, and the kind of care that only comes from someone who has sat on both sides of the table.
